The successful outcome of a financial controversy is often dependent on accurate and understandable accounting information. The financial ramification of facts and evidence are often pivotal to a ruling or settlement. Bringing fiscal evidence to light is really a two-step process; (1) proper analysis, including constraint scenarios and hypotheticals; (2) communication of findings in terms meaningful to all parties involved. It is a rare case, which does not require both simultaneously.

Step (1) Analysis: demands a certain specificity of knowledge and a battery of technical skills. However, analytic wizardry alone does not insure success.

Step (2) Communication: requires a large working framework and mind set predisposed to synthesis. One must have the prowess and judgement to shift communication gears based on the particular audience.

We carry a formidable analytic toolkit, but do so with a generalist hand. We value work, which asks of us both skill and wisdom, and I hope to discuss any such projects you may have.
